Taylor Morris has been a resident of Social Circle since 2010. She is an entrepreneur and real estate broker of Morris Realty. She was appointed by the Board to the Chair position in 2023.
Taylor is married to Cody Morris, a lifelong Social Circle resident and former Redskin. She has two sons, Emmett and Rhett Morris, both have attended SCCS since the early learning program at SCHS.
Taylor has volunteered in many aspects of the system from making copies for teachers, serving meals to staff, helping with STAR parties, and serving on school councils just to name a few. She has a heart for the youth in our community and supports the teachers. In addition to serving in the schools, she is also active in the community serving FISH lunches and literacy campaigns. Taylor is a member of the SCDDA since 2022, Social Circle Rotary since 2016 and spent years on the Social Circle Mainstreet Board.
"While I was not fortunate enough to grow up here, I am thankful my children have been able to. Social Circle is a special place and our school system is a huge part of that community that has been created. My desire is to put my business knowledge and community-focused heart to work in order to keep our students and staff as the top priority. Go Redskins!"

Amber McKibben is a lifelong resident of Social Circle. She graduated from Social Circle High School in 1999. She attended Georgia Piedmont Technical College and began a career in finance after high school. Her love of community led her to begin volunteering and she was appointed to the Social Circle Mainstreet Commission in 2016, where she served as vice chair for 2 years. In 2017, Amber decided to become a stay-at-home mom when her daughter was born. In 2019, Amber began working for The City of Social Circle, where she is still employed and serves as the Downtown Director.
Amber takes great pride in serving and being involved in her community. She is a member of the Social Circle Rotary Club and her favorite activity through Rotary is reading to the students at Social Circle Primary and Elementary Schools. Amber’s daughter, Caroline, is currently in second grade at Social Circle Primary School. Amber stated, “It is so special for me to be able to raise my daughter in my hometown and for her to attend the same schools that I attended. I am so proud that Caroline is a Redskin. I love our incredible school system and I will do my best to serve and support all of the students, staff, and administration as a Social Circle City Schools board member.”

Mr. Jackson is a lifelong resident of Social Circle. He is a 1992 graduate of Social Circle High School and employed locally at Standridge Color Corp for more than 20 years. Beginning his second term, Rico stated, "I ran for school board for a couple of reasons. One was to serve my community that is familiar to me. Most importantly, I wanted to be a role model for the young men in this community. Through my job and my church, I interact with many young men. I want to be a face they can look to for help. I serve as the financial secretary of my church. I look forward to continuing my work on the school board and in the community."
Rico has been married to his wife, Angela, for nearly twenty years. They have one daughter, Demecia, and two grandboys.

Mrs. Sanford-Flint was born in Bad Kreuznach, Germany but raised in Walton County, Georgia. She graduated from Social Circle High School in 1992 and continued her education at Morris Brown College (undergrad) and Clarke Atlanta University (grad). She, plus her parents, sister, and son, are proud Social Circle High School graduates! In 1999, she returned to her hometown of Social Circle. She started her career with the Department of Family and Children Services in 2000, and 23 years later, she still enjoys what she does! She devotes her time to being heavily involved in volunteering for her church and throughout the community. Board of Directors for the Walton County Partnership, Walton Youth Project, A. P. Henderson Scholarship Foundation, Juneteenth Committee, and Touchdown Booster Club are a few of the committees she serves on. She works part-time as a mentor at Foothills Charter High School and is a mentor at the Middle School through the Reach Mentoring Program. She also serves on the Principal's Council for the Middle School. Mrs. Sanford-Flint tutors five students from 5th to 8th grade in her free time. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., whose focus is on Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service, and Social Action. As you can see, she loves her community and tries to give back as much as possible.
Mrs. Sanford-Flint ran for the Social Circle City Schools Board of Education to make a difference in the community and provide a voice for the voiceless. As District 3 Representative, she wants to bridge the gaps in education for our subgroups with the resources needed to educate children and parents. She loves the youth! She has a servant's heart, so being at the table to make decisions for the youth in her community is a top priority for her. She follows in the footsteps of her mother, uncle, and cousin, who also served on the school board years ago. She is excited about the future of Social Circle City Schools and believes that great things are ahead. #SCCSALLIN

Maggie Bonnell is a lifelong resident of Social Circle and a 2006 graduate of Social Circle High School. Maggie is employed remotely by Colony Bank, based in Fitzgerald, GA, as the Closing Manager in the Small Business Specialty Lending Division. She has over 13 years experience in SBA and USDA lending.
Maggie has been married to her husband, Brandt, since 2017. They have three children - Kensley, Kerristen, and Julian. While their girls primarily live in Indiana with their mother, Maggie and Brandt relish the time they spend together during breaks, and Kensley and Kerristen enjoy attending softball and soccer camps hosted by the Social Circle High School teams.
At the core of everything Maggie does, lies a deep-seated appreciation for her family. She and her family can often be found attending various sporting events, at both the middle and high school, as she cheers on her cousins, nieces and nephew. She is so proud to be a Redskin!
“I am honored to be appointed to the District 4 seat,” Maggie said. “I love our school system and it is important to me that the students, staff, and administration are represented well. Julian should enter kindergarten at the new elementary school as one of the first students, and I am looking forward to serving on the board during this exciting time in the school's history. I am grateful Kensley and Kerristen can call Social Circle their Georgia home and that we can raise Julian as a future Redskin!"
Ms. Bell was born in Walton County to Joseph and Clara Moon. Raised by her mother, she graduated from Monroe Area Comprehensive High School, in 1982, before continuing her education at Valdosta State. Due to financial hardships, she did not finish college at that time but pursued the workforce as a Credit Manager at Heilig-Meyers' Furniture Store. In 1991, she became a Credit Analyst for a larger furniture chain, and in 1997, she received her greatest blessing - her beautiful daughter, Azariah.
In 2014, she was appointed to the Social Circle City Schools Board of Education. Lowana states, "This was a great opportunity for me because I was always involved with my daughter while she attended Social Circle City Schools. I love working with the community and their children. I took the oath to serve the children of Social Circle City Schools, and this is a very important part of my life that I will always truly cherish."
Thirty-five years later (2020), she decided to attend Valdosta State University online to complete her degree in Criminal Justice. Lowana is a traveling amateur ladies' slow-pitch softball player. Softball is the hobby she loves and has participated in since she was 18 years old.
Randy Carithers, our longest serving board member, began serving in 1998. A lifelong resident and Mayor of Jersey, GA, Randy is one of two representatives of the Zone 5 District. Following graduation from Social Circle High School, Randy continued his education at the University of Georgia. He is self-employed and operates a landscaping and lawn care business. Randy is a member of Jersey Holiness Church and the Walton County Cattlemen's Association. When he's not working, he enjoys hunting and raising cattle.
Randy and his wife, Kitty, have three children, Brittany, Courtenay, and Jared, and two grandsons. Randy joined the board to "help ensure that the children of our community get the best education possible."
