Student Services

The Student Services Department provides the structures, resources, and services necessary to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. We are committed to working in partnership with students, families, staff, and community members to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

We focus on equipping students and staff with the tools needed to thrive through:
  • School Safety and Crisis Response: Coordinating systems and processes to maintain secure, well-prepared school environments
  • Suicide Awareness and Prevention Training: Implementing state-required training for students and staff to promote well-being and safety
  • Behavioral and Mental Health Support: Connecting students and families with counseling, intervention, and community resources
  • Specialized Student Services: Supporting students with school nurses, counselors, and social workers

The work of the Student Services Department reflects our commitment to the district’s Strategic Plan. By providing targeted academic and behavioral supports, equipping staff with professional learning, fostering safe and supportive schools, engaging families as partners, and maintaining efficient and transparent operations, we ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed. Together, these efforts prepare our students to thrive as future graduates and responsible citizens, fully aligned with the Portrait of a Graduate — becoming compassionate communicators, creative problem-solvers, critical thinkers, empathetic collaborators, global citizens, and life-literate learners.
