Student Teacher Placement
Social Circle City Schools will accept placement requests for the Fall and Spring semesters. Requests must be submitted at least 30 days before the semester begins. Students must work through their College or University Field Placement Office, and the district will collaborate directly with the Field Placement offices to ensure proper placement.
Process:
- Students/College or University Staff should first contact their Field Placement Office to request placement.
- Next, the Field Placement Office submits the placement request, a cleared background, and a student information sheet to the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction via the Student-Teacher Placement Form.
- The Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction will notify the school requested on receipt.
- The Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction will send placement confirmation or decline of placement to the Field Placement Office.

Note: SCCS Employees requesting placements must request a Leave of Absence from their Principal.
