Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)

Social Circle City Schools is committed to ensuring the success of all students through a comprehensive system of support.   As part of this, we conduct screenings to identify students who may benefit from additional support or are at risk for academic or behavioral challenges. These screenings are a crucial part of our data-driven decision-making process, helping us continually improve our educational system.  

Below is a list of screenings scheduled to be administered during this current school; you will receive written notification if additional screening is added later in the school year.  

  • iReady (All Schools)
  • Behavior Screener (All Schools)
  • Wilson Assessment of Decoding and Encoding (SCES Only)
  • Speech Screener (SCES Only)
  • iReady Dyslexia Screener (SCES ONLY)
  • Heggerty Baseline Phonemic Awareness Assessment (SCES Only)

If you have any questions regarding the screenings mentioned above or do not wish your child to participate in the screening process, please contact your school’s MTSS Coordinator.
