School Psychology

As school psychologists at Social Circle City Schools (SCCS), we are trained in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. A critical component of our role is to conduct psychological evaluations for special education consideration and to assist in program planning. These assessments include cognitive, academic, and social-emotional testing, observations, and interpreting teacher and parent questionnaires. Additionally, we consult with teachers, school administrators, and families to develop and improve support strategies and school-wide practices that align with the SCCS mission to provide an excellent and equitable education for all students.
