Superintendent's Office
The Superintendent of Schools is appointed by the Social Circle City Board of Education and serves as Chief Executive Officer of Social Circle City Schools. Key functions supported by the Office of the Superintendent include governance, strategic planning, accountability, curriculum and instruction, finance, human resources, operations, safety, student support services, and communications, all for continuous improvement of student, school, and system performance.
Academic Support
The Academic Support Department is responsible for providing a comprehensive range of services to support the academic and personal well-being of students. This includes school counseling services, special education services, nursing services, federal programs, student information services, and social work, as well as other student services. The department is dedicated to ensuring that all students have access to the support they need to succeed academically and personally.
Curriculum and Instruction
The Curriculum and Instruction Department is committed to continually providing challenging and equitable learning opportunities for all staff and students. Information about Assessment, CTAE, Gifted, and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is available.

The Operations Department manages the essential services that keep the district running safely and efficiently. This includes transportation, technology, maintenance, and facilities. The department ensures that students and staff have safe, reliable transportation; well-maintained learning environments; and access to the technology and infrastructure needed to support high-quality teaching and learning. The Operations team is dedicated to providing dependable service and fostering a safe, efficient, and supportive environment for our students and staff.
