Field-level / sideline access at Social Circle City Schools athletic events is limited and granted only to individuals who meet the criteria outlined below. Approval is event-specific and subject to district discretion.

• Must represent a legitimate news organization, broadcast outlet, or recognized media entity.
• Access is granted for coverage purposes only and may be limited based on event operations, space, or safety considerations.

• Must be affiliated with an SCCS school-sponsored program.

• Student access is limited to designated areas and times as determined by school staff.

• Includes individuals hired by SCCS, school administrators, coaches, or families for specific coverage purposes.

• Must receive prior approval from the SCCS Athletic Department before the event.

• Background clearance may be required before approval.

• Approval applies only to the specific event requested and does not guarantee future access.

• Must comply with SCCS field access procedures and credentialing requirements.

• Are restricted to the visiting team sideline and designated media areas.

• Must follow all instructions provided by event staff and school administrators.

All individuals seeking field-level / sideline access to Social Circle City Schools athletic events must submit a request in advance for review and approval.

• Requests must be submitted using the SCCS Field-Level / Sideline Access Request Form.

• Each request must clearly identify the specific event, date, and purpose of field access.

• Requests will be reviewed by the Athletic Director.

• Requests must be submitted at least two (2) school days before the scheduled event.

• Approval is event-specific and does not carry over to future contests.

• Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.

• Approval may be limited or denied due to safety considerations, space limitations, operational needs, or event-specific circumstances.

• Individuals will be notified of approval or denial before the event.

• All approved individuals must display an SCCS-issued field access credential at all times while on the field or sidelines. Credentials are valid only for the specific, approved event.

• Upon arrival, approved individuals must check in at the home ticket booth to receive their field access credential and complete the check-in process before entering the field area.

Approved individuals must follow all field-level conduct expectations to ensure a safe and positive event environment.

• Stay within approved areas and away from active play.

• Follow directions from school staff and officials at all times.

• Avoid actions that disrupt the event or create safety concerns.

• Maintain professional conduct while on the field or sidelines.

Field access may be revoked at any time if expectations are not met.

By accepting field-level /sideline access, individuals acknowledge and assume responsibility for the inherent risks associated with being on or near the playing surface during athletic events. These risks may include, but are not limited to:

• Contact with athletic equipment or other objects

• Accidental collisions with participants, officials, or event personnel

• Exposure to varying weather conditions

• Other unexpected conditions or hazards related to live athletic events
