In order to provide the safest and most effective learning environments for our children, we have determined that our staff need three additional days to prepare our facilities, receive necessary supplies, and hone our instructional plans. We appreciate your patience as we effectively implement our Reopening Plans. The first day of classes for students will be Monday, August 10th, 2020. We will have scheduled remote learning days on January 4th, 5th, and February 12th, 2021 to make up for the delay in starting school.
Revised 2020 - 2021 School Calendar
Thank you Middle/High school parents for your cooperation during the morning and afternoon car rider line. To insure a safe and efficient drop off in the morning please follow the steps and refer to diagram.
Please take a moment to review our detailed SCCS District Reopening Plan. Our team involved stakeholders and experts at all levels to assist in the development of this comprehensive plan. We appreciate the diligent work of our parents and staff members in creating a plan that prioritizes preserving the physical and emotional wellness and safety of our students, staff, and community while providing the ultimate learning experience for students within varying circumstances. School teams will provide detailed information for families of students enrolled in their schools.
We appreciate your willingness to complete the instructional model interest survey to help us to gauge the amount of interest in remote learning for our planning purposes. If you are interested in your child(ren) participating in remote learning for the 2020-2021 school year, please ensure that the linked form is completed by Friday, July 24th. If you have multiple children, you will need to complete the form separately for each child. If this commitment agreement is not submitted by July 24th, we will assume that your preference is for your child(ren) to be enrolled in the face-to-face instructional option. The SCCS Remote Learning Option Registration Form and Commitment Agreement form will be utilized by the schools for actual class placement. If you have changed your mind since you completed the earlier instructional model interest survey and would now like for your child(ren) to participate in remote learning, you can reflect that in completion of this agreement form. If you prefer face-to-face instruction for your child(ren) you do not need to complete the agreement.
