Buses will pick up 2 hours late; school will end on time. School will begin at 10 am. We will closely monitor conditions overnight to determine if further action is needed.

Today we received what we believed to be a non-credible bomb threat at our High School through social media. The administrators, for the protection of the students, evacuated the area mentioned in the threat. Students were not allowed to return to this area after school. Extended School Days

Inclement Weather Make-Up Time

In order to regain some of the lost instructional time due to the winter weather the Social Circle Board of Education has decided to make the following temporary schedule change: Extend the instructional day by 20 minutes (10 before/10 after) for students and staff for Feb. 24 - March 28 to equal 500 additional instructional minutes (2+ days for students and staff) Continue with 20 minute extended day for staff only on April 7- 18 to equal 200 additional minutes (1 additional day for staff).

This means that school start times will begin 10 minutes early and release times will be 10 minutes later from February 24th through March 28th

Our buses will follow this new schedule beginning Monday, February 24th

SCPS Little Library!

Little Library     Little Library     Little Library

We are kicking off 2019 with the addition of our SCPS Little Library! It is located near the side entrance of the school where buses drop off and pick up. The library is full of books and ready for our students to make a visit! Students can take books, donate books, but most important READ, READ, READ! (*Only donations of children's books will be accepted at this time. If visiting the Little Library, please be mindful of bus schedules.) We hope you find a book you enjoy!
